HELL O

So pleasant to be greeted

And yet when pondered brings forth a haze to that which not already known

Can a word consisting of hell be any good

As the abode for which  souls suffer torment

An abyss yearned to escape permeated with pain

Exiled spirits filled with fear at which the demons toy

Where as beauty beyond compare a hex to its beholders

Exemplified Helen whom by her presence initiated the slaughter of Troy

Requesting  help is a must in order  to obtain

A choice depending on the individuals need

Though if decided to bare one’s burden alone can hardly blame

Tis claimed to have pride is a sin

But if possessed nothing but mere pride

To be  assisted brings forth hell

An obligation summons submission to whom gave a helping hand

Which if exploited can be used to stir up guilt or even shame

Used as protection for the cranium to preserve one’s life

And yet perturbed by it’s given name

As is a blessing when worn a helmet

In division meant to behold gehenna’s gate

reduced the risk however survival still  deemed uncertain

For when in  severe danger beneath the head regarded helpless.
