From times past to times present;for many it is somehow mind boggling to come to terms with the realities of nature.
While upon contemplation of the topic of consideration,for the most regards references made are mostly directed towards human beings;but in acknowledgement of the fact that innumerable species of living organisms also go by the same instinct throughout mother earth we will not refuse the concept of something more primal than anything else.
Why do people and a vast majority of fauna tend to seek out the weakest,smallest  or most defenceless prey to target.
Without hesitation many can draw the conclusion: because it’s easier to get what we want when the victim can hardly or is incapable of putting up a fight.
Take a look at the vast wildlife scattered across the globe, the image can almost be instantly perceived of a carnivore such as a leopard or even a cheetah hunting down herbivores with little to no natural defence mechanisms given; than merely to flee for one’s life when under threat such as a hare or a gazelle.
Let’s just be frank when saying: in the animal kingdom it’s survival of the fittest or in cases kill or be killed.
While observing the existence of many predators;it is fair to say many of such cold blooded,vicious creatures may encounter others which would be considered to be a formidable match whether by means of strength, size or God given weapons which may provide an advantage against aggressors.
Animals by instinct tend to endeavour to enforce their dominance and depending on the parties involved the result could be a lenghty and brutal duel between alphas or a case where the weaker didn’t stand a chance thus resulting in submission.
When using the same concept but among human interactions;the scenarios may or may not completely be similar but that is where the diversity comes in when acknowledging the fact that Humans are more complex in regards to typical raw primal nature.
We have seen innumerable instances where the larger preyed on the smaller, the weak being overpowered by a stronger counterpart especially in cases involving men and women excluding the use of force and callous dominion over children or the feeble due to being blighted with illness or old age.
It happens every day; women are physically weaker to most male aggressors where some have been left totally victimised through abuse or being held against their will.
People do things for many reasons some justified while others just plain cruel and horrendous.
Look at the detestable act of sexual harassment; what can this be defined as without any misconceptions?
This may be less threatening in terms of violence or blatant physical dominion upon the victim but nonetheless is usually an act which causes discomfort,and fear through intimidation thus being carried out by a more dominant aggressor.
Sexual harassment can be both physical and verbal which may result in humiliation and trauma upon the individual depending on the severity of the harassment issued upon the victim.
In civilized society it is an obvious fact that respect is a facet of humanity which should be practiced and reciprocated among individuals alike, however not all tend to hold steadfast and accountable to the laws of common ethics, some persons whether intentionally or through animalistic urges tend to lack the required self control which can be of detriment to those  afflicted as well as to the afflicters themselves.
Where lewd remarks are casted upon an individual whom did not desire such forms of attention or where contact is made upon someone who’s comfort zone may have been infiltrated; this can bring into question the prevalence of sexual perversion and deviance which are wired into many individuals, to be realistic these tend to be traits notably identified in men but there is no one precise scope to measure such a broad misdemeanor in society.
Sexual harassment in truth at times are the initial stages to something far more disastrous but the more heinous acts derived from such is a whole different kettle of fish.
Harassment is an invasion of boundaries; forcing interest in a less than acceptable manner where the recipient is either turnt off and possible feels threatened or offended.
These are instances which happen in many cases whether at work by colleagues or employers or even on the street by strangers but not limited to these two.
If to debate the reason why some would indulge in such cringing acts many assumptions would arise but it all boils down to empathy and self control.
Empathy in the sense that before carrying out such an act on another person we would attempt to consider if the situation was reversed if not even upon us ourselves but a favoured loved one whether it be a sister, a mother or even a close friend; and self control where it would be advisable to refrain from allowing ourselves to become slaves to our urges.
Just to be clear there is a thin line between sexual perversion or deviance and sexual degeneracy and sometimes for just a abrupt moment of sexual deviance there may arise a serious and long-term penalty for not exercising discipline.
